Dressed to impress, this hummus knows how to clean up. While I wouldn't like to admit it, if you twist my arm I'd say this hummus is a bit of a pig in lipstick. She offers a silky smooth texture with a perfectly plated finish. Her taste, however, left me scratching my chickpea (noggin). My mind was replaying the famous Christmas carol, "chestnuts roasting on an open fire", as this hummus has an almost overpowering nutty demeanor. A little bit of richness is nice but here it drowned out the usual suspects (Mr. Tahina, Dr. Olive[r] Oil). I would categorize this hummus as a "banker hummus", as you should order it 10/10 times on your business lunch special, but no need to go out of your way to try her otherwise.
